p_ [library of short sequences] - dv, 2007


An interaction of forms across visual formats: this work in progress is the first outcome of a long term project to recapture and remix existing multi-media materials. 'p_' is an initial library of footage, mixed in real time with ambient sounds - based on a film on VHS tape, re-recorded and digitized, then captured by camcorder kinescope streams. The play between meaning and technical format results in an abstract, introspective emotional collage.
